SHAMBHAVA
HATHA YOGA TEACHER TRAINING
(ACCREDITED WITH YOGA ALLIANCE)
TRANSFORM YOUR PRACTICE WITH SHAMBHAVA
YOGA!
Shambhava Yoga is inspired from the heart and empowered through an
established lineage. The rich and diverse practices (including asana,
pranayama, meditation, mantra and seva or selfless service) teach us to
how to
connect within to our natural
state of clarity and joy and to bring this awareness
into all the activities of our life.
Shambhava Yoga classes blend a flow of postures with conscious work in
stillness. We emphasize safe biomechanics, core strength, integrity of alignment,
and inner opening through the breath. Our teachers offer modifications to
include
students of all experience
levels. A Shambhava Yoga class is a meditative
experience
to strengthen body awareness, release the stresses of modern life
and connect to one’s highest potential.
The Shambhava Yoga Teacher Training gives you the tools to transform your
practice and share your love of yoga with others.
We are dedicated to helping you:
• Understand and practice safe biomechanics in yoga asana
• Develop essential teaching skills
• Work with the breath to teach with intuition and inner depth
• Cultivate your own creative teaching style
Small classes offer personal support and help you flourish within a yoga
community. Flexible-format 200 and 500-hour trainings run throughout the
year
at our various centers. Call

The Shambhava School of Yoga was founded over 30 years ago by Rishi Maha Mandaleshwar Sri Shambhavananda.
Shambhava Yoga draws from the rich tapestry of yogic teachings to explain how to use the circumstances of our own lives to
grow consciously.
The term Shambhava refers to the natural state of being that exists within and that can be experienced
through the practices of yoga. Shambhava Yoga encompasses the following elements:
* Breath-focused
hatha yoga to help us relax, open and align with more subtle flow of energy
* Meditation practices
to bring clarity, focus and the release of psychic tension
* Sanskrit
chanting and kirtan to cultivate joy, harmony and inter-connection with others
* Cultivation
of conscious awareness, openness to growth and dedication to selfless service
Develop inner awareness and balance as a yoga teacher
We teach a balancing form of hatha yoga
that starts from a deep relationship with the breath. We work with classical asanas that can be integrated into your own creative
style of yoga class. Students learn to move consciously with the breath to unlock tightness and restricted holding patterns.
We give students tools to integrate asana practice with a regular meditation practice. Shambhava hatha yoga
encourages the development of inner awareness and a connection with the flow of subtle energy within to create inner balance.
Deepen your personal yoga practice during
our training program! The first and best reason to do the training is for yourself!
Our school of yoga supports you in your ongoing development as a yoga
practitioner and a yoga teacher. We have found over many years of training yoga teachers that your personal practice is
a key to being the best yoga teacher you can be. Our beautiful and peaceful ashram setting, combined with online home study
tools, and flexible dates are all intended to help you fulfill your dream of becoming a certified yoga teacher this year!

ABOUT
OUR TEACHER:
HH Sri Shambhavananda
is an American-born meditation master who has devoted his life to serving those seeking true spiritual growth through the
ancient disciplines of yoga. He is a blazing flame of inspiration, and a constant source of spiritual energy for his students.
He challenges the idea that spirituality is somehow removed from the world we live in, teaching that all the myriad conditions
of our lives can be transformed into great joy through spiritual work.
Shambhavananda has founded ashrams across the world, his largest being Shoshoni Yoga Retreat,
an ashram and retreat center located on 250 acres of spectacular pine forest in the Colorado Rockies near Boulder, Colorado.
Shoshoni serves as a dynamic hub for the loving sangha (spiritual community) that Shambhavananda has nurtured.
Shambhavananda and the Shambhava School of Yoga have also been serving the local Boulder community for thirty years
by offering spiritual teachings, places of sanctuary and training programs in hatha yoga and meditation at Eldorado Mountain
Yoga Ashram. He has published two books, Spontaneous Recognition and A Seat By the Fire. Both are compilations
of satsangs, traditional question and answer sessions, which is his favorite
teaching method.
You are not far from the state
of pure Truth, pure consciousness, and pure bliss that you are seeking. Even when you are in your darkest hour, it is very
close to you. All you have to do is untangle yourself from the external world. You will find that the states of despair and
happiness are created by your mind. As long as you are bound by your mind you will suffer the consequences of its fluctuations.
That is why beginning a spiritual practice will help you. Your problems will not magically disappear – you simply will
not be distracted by them. You will develop a spiritual mechanism to deal with them.
